For the 11th time under head coach Larry Turner, the Owasso Rams won another state title in baseball Saturday.
The Rams trailed Westmoore 8-6, with one out left in their season – at two points in the bottom of the seventh inning, they were down to their final strike.
In typical Ram fashion, they never stopped fighting. Jaguars reliever Braidyn Fink walked in the Ram’s 7th run of the game. Trailing 8-7 with two outs, Owasso’s Parker Dunn ended the game with a two-run RBI single, giving the Rams get the come from behind 9-8 win.
When returning home, the Ram received an Owasso Police Escort into the city, going directly to Trails End BBQ for a celebratory meal.
