Oklahoma Highway Patrol is reporting a non-injury school bus collision occurred Monday morning at approximately 8:28am on 89th Street North near the intersection of 175th East Avenue eastbound.
A 2012 Dodge Ram driven by Ashley Nerwich 24, of Haskell was backing out of a private residence and struck a 2007 Ford 3000 Owasso School Bus driven by Philip Meador age 60, of Claremore. Twenty-three students ranging in age from 3 to 11 were on board. All students were from Owasso Public Schools and there were no injuries.
The OHP report shows the cause of the accident was failure to yield by Nerwich.
