07/07/2018 – Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports an injury collision occurred Friday, July 6th at approximately 3:14pm on EW540 Road just east of 193rd East Avenue, 3 miles north of Catoosa, OK in Rogers County.
A 2002 Acura MDX, driven by Joyce Widick 56, of Owasso failed to negotiate a curve left, departed the roadway right, went into the tree line and impacted a tree. She was transported by Pafford EMS to St. John Hospital in Tulsa and admitted in stable condition with head, trunk internal, and leg injuries.
- Condition of driver Vehicle-1 – Apparently Normal
- Cause of Collision – Speed greater than proper to negotiate curve.
- Seatbelts – Equipped; not in use
- Weather – Clouds present
