After receiving scholarship offers from Arkansas State, New Mexico, North Texas, Air Force and Harvard, Owasso’s Michael Anderson, has verbally committed to play football for the University of Tulsa Golden Hurricanes.
Verbal commitments are not binding and high school athletes sign national letters of intent in February. TU offensive coordinator Denver Johnson, was quoted as saying TU and Anderson are now “engaged and the wedding date is in February” (National Signing day).
Anderson’s success is not limited to the football field. He’s a standout basketball player, maintains a 4.0 GPA and earned a 29 on the ACT.
