Pamela Hodson Elementary had a fun and successful Walk-A-Thon fundraiser this year on Friday, September 26th celebrating its 25th year anniversary. At the prize assembly on October 3rd, prizes were awarded to students and teachers for laps walked, money raised, and greatest number of past Walk-A-Thon T-shirts brought in. Due to the achievement of pre-set fundraising goals, the prize assembly closed with a surprise finale when the student from each grade that raised the most money got to smash a cream pie in Principal Koerner’s face. As always, Walk-A-Thon was able to be such a great success because of all the volunteers who helped make the event possible. All of the money raised will be going towards playground improvements at Hodson.
