Peggy Royal Eddington was born on November 8, 1939, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Joseph Leo Royal and Delpha Mae (Campbell) Royal. She passed from this life on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at her home in Owasso, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years. Peggy was raised and educated in Tulsa and graduated with the Webster High School class of 1957. She then went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Murray State College in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. She was married on October 16, 1958, in Tulsa to Carl Lee Eddington. Peggy spent most of her working life as a registered nurse with Valley View Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma. She was a longtime faithful member First Presbyterian Church in Ada, Oklahoma and had most recently been attending John Calvin Presbyterian Church in Tulsa. In her spare time, Peggy enjoyed gardening, music, and playing the piano and organ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Delpha, husband Carl, and her brother, Randal.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at Mowery Funeral Service. Graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa with Pastor Jim Miller and Chaplain Sandra Givens officiating. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
