Phyllis Alene Weidner was born May 20, 1934, near Quinton, Oklahoma, to Reverend W.T. and Lucy Marie (Laughlin) Roberts. She died Tuesday, October 20, 2015, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 81 years. Phyllis spent much of her working life as an administrative assistant with different organizations and businesses. She was a longtime member of the Free Will Baptist Church in Owasso and Blue Bell Free Will Baptist Church in Sapulpa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joe Weidner, daughter, Diane Pope, sister, Dean Hale, and brother, Wayne Roberts.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 22, 2015, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, October 23, 2015, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso with Pastor Leonard Pirtle officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Eric Proctor, Mike McGregor, Michael Shivers, Rod Collett, Kemper Combs, Greg Aery, Aaron Lamberson and Chris Roberts. Honorary casket bearers will be Howard Casto, Dan Hale, Myles Davidson, and Marty Pierce. Committal services and interment will follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso.
