05/10/2018 – Piper’s Legacy Foundation was formed in 2017 by Glenda Connor and her daughter Kim Dorrough. Their intention and mission is giving seniors and people with disabilities the ability to keep their dogs.
Kim tells us “If mom (Glenda) did not have someone walk her dog and pet taxi her dog to the vet she could not keep her dog.” Both knew from personal experience with Kim’s grandmother how important it is that seniors and those with disabilities not be separated from their pets. The love of a dog is vitally important to them.
Piper’s Legacy Foundation is a 501c3, and are actively seeking seniors and persons with disabilities who need the type of assistance above, so they can help keep their pet. They can also help assist with medication and training costs.
Contact Kim Dorrough at (918) 272 -1928 or kim.dorrough@yahoo.com if you know someone who could benefit from our services.
