09/26/2019 – Private First Class Nathaniel Traylor Kopecky, 18, of Owasso graduated from the United States Marine Corps boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego on September 20, 2019. 
PFC Kopecky successfully completed 13 weeks of intensive basic training at MCRD San Diego as one of 483 recruits in Golf Company and was in Training Platoon 2141. While in recruit training, PFC Kopecky achieved Expert Rifle Qualification and a first-class rating on his Personal Fitness and Combat Fitness tests.
Following ten days home on leave, he will report to Camp Pendleton for one month at Military Combat Training then to Military Occupation Specialty school.
