Raymond Kenneth Crawford was born January 23, 1929, in Keota, Oklahoma, to John Thomas Warren Crawford and Phyllis (Flossy) Crawford. He passed from this life Wednesday, August 9, 2017, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 88 years. Raymond was raised and educated in Keota, but later earned his GED from Catoosa High School. He was married July 12, 1948, in his front yard in Keota, Oklahoma to Geraldine (Wood) Crawford. Raymond spent most of his working life as a Sheet Metal Mechanic with Tulsa Public Schools from 1947 to 1986. He was a longtime member of Collinsville Free Will Baptist Church, but had recently been attending Garden Heights Free Will Baptist Church in Prattville, Oklahoma. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes including quartet singing, woodworking, playing his guitar, and talking to anyone willing to lend an ear.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Alvin, Major, and Johnny and 4 sisters, Myrtle, Pauline, Geraldine, and Lorene.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, August 13, 2017, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 14, 2017, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Doyle Baker officiating. Interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
