Raymond William Riker was born July 6, 1928, in Nowata, Oklahoma, to Alfred and Ethel (Stevenson) Riker. He passed on Monday, March 12, 2018, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 89 years. Raymond was raised and educated in Nowata and Tulsa, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Tulsa Will Rogers High School Class of 1946. He served his country honorably with the United States Army in World War II. Upon returning to the states, Raymond met and married Janis Eileen Wood on September 2, 1949, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He spent most of his working life as a draftsman for Braden Steel Corporation. As a faithful member of First Church, Raymond was very involved with the church. He also enjoyed a variety of pastimes such as working in his shop, tinkering and fixing things.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 16, 2018, at Mowery Funeral Service, Owasso. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, March 17, 2018, at First Church, Owasso, with Reverend Ben Killion and Mike Raburn officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Gary Riker, Les Riker, Dusty Jordan, Stephen Williams, Kevin Emmert and Wade Riker. Committal services will be held at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service.
