Representative Dr. David Derby and Senator Rick Brinkley will host a Town Hall meeting on Monday, November 25, 2013, from 6:30-7:30pm at the Old Town Hall Center (Old Central) in Owasso. Representative Derby and Senator Brinkley will discuss this past year’s accomplishments at the state capitol for the citizens of Oklahoma, goals for the upcoming session, as well as discuss our current state and government affairs. The community is invited to meet, listen, and participate in discussion at the Town Hall Meeting.

Representative Derby represents District 74 in the Oklahoma State House of Representatives, which encompasses most of Owasso.

Representative Derby is the Chair of the Conference Committee for Public Health as well as the Chair for the Public Health Committee. He is also on the A&B Public Health and Social Services Committee, A&B Public Safety Committee, Conference Committee on Government Modernization as well as the Government Modernization Committees.

Senator Brinkley represents District 34 in the Oklahoma State Senate, serving portions of Owasso, Collinsville, Skiatook, Sperry, Turley and Tulsa. Senator Brinkley currently serves as Chairman of the Senate Pensions Committee and Vice-Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee. Senator Brinkley also serves on the Energy, Rules, and Appropriations Committees as well as is in his second term as the Majority Whip.
