Reverend Edmond “Ed” Monroe Dugan was born on October 28, 1950, in Morrilton, Arkansas to Thomas Jefferson Dugan and Eilene Blanche (Anderson) Dugan. He passed from this life on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 71 years. Ed was raised in McAlester, Oklahoma, and following graduation, honorably served his country in the United States Navy. He married his sweetheart Carol Harris on May 21, 1971, in Stuart, Oklahoma. Ed spent most of his working life as a banker with First National Bank in Pryor, Oklahoma, for more than 20 years. While working, he went back to school and earned his Bachelors Degree from Northeaster State University in Tahlequah, OK. He served as an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Church of God for more than 40 years. Shortly after his ordination, he served as Assistant Pastor at Calvary Pentecostal Church in McAlester, OK, and later as Senior Pastor at Christ’s Church in Owasso. He has been a member of Owasso First Assembly of God for the past 18 years. In his spare time, Ed enjoyed a variety of past times which included being an avid sports fan, collecting sports memorabilia, and being a voracious reader. He served the Pryor community for decades raising more than $100,000 for the little league baseball program, as a school board member for 17 years, and as an active member of several service organizations.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeff and Eilene, sister, Stella, and his brother, Michael.
Visitation will be held 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Monday July 11, 2022, at Owasso First Assembly of God. Private family graveside will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Ed’s memory to Owasso First Assembly of God – Fire Bibles, 9341 N. 129th E. Ave, Owasso, OK 74055. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service.
