Robert Lincoln Miller was born February 12, 1927, in Bloomfield, New Jersey, to Edward John and Clara (Wronski) Miller. He died Tuesday, January 6, 2015, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 87 years. Robert was reared and educated in Bloomfield, New Jersey. He was a veteran of the armed forces having served his country honorably with the United States Navy during World War II. He was married May 7, 1955, in Bloomfield to Felicia Mongiello. They live in New Jersey where Robert spent much of his working life as an oil burner service mechanic. They moved to the Owasso area in March of 1997. He later worked with Reasor’s in Owasso as a cashier. Robert was a member of the Catholic church and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes including listening to Polka music to which he loved to dance to. He loved his kids and his family, as well as his beloved pet, Trixie.
Loving family members include: His wife of nearly 60 years; Felicia, of the home Son; Theodore Miller and his wife Sue, of Tallahassee, Florida Daughter; Yvanne Neale, of Owasso Daughter; Valerie Mays and her husband Patrick, of Chelsea, Oklahoma Son; Edward Miller, of Colonia, New Jersey Seven grandchildren Seven great grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and one sister.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, January 11, 2015, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 12, 2015, at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
