R PughRobert R. Pugh, resident of Tulsa, passed from this life on Tuesday evening, July 26, 2016 at the age of 69 years. Robert was born May 21, 1947 in Portage, Wisconsin to Hiel and Antoinette “Ann” LaReau. He was raised and received his education in Wisconsin, graduating high school in Madison, WI. Robert enlisted in the US Army at Fort Campbell, Kentucky and honorably served his country for eight years. He Moved to Tulsa, where his mother and step father were living and rejoined the military with the Army National Guard, where he served another 20 years and retired with the rank of Staff Sergeant. Robert also worked as a truck driver for Miser Asphalt Co until he reached the age of 62, and health problems forced his retirement. On February 16, 1990, Robert married Jolene Willis in Miami, OK and they continued to make their home in Tulsa. He and Jolene were members of the Garnett Road Baptist Church.

Robert is survived by his wife – Jolene of the home; children Kim and Kevin, both of Wisconsin; Jeremy and Jason Pugh both of Arkansas, James Willis and wife Linda of Broken Arrow and Steven Willis and wife Becky of Wagoner, OK. Also surviving are siblings – Margaret Smith and husband Don of Muskogee, OK; Wanda Pugh of Tulsa, OK; Marvin Brusveen Jr and wife Debbie of Elkins, Arkansas; James Brusveen and wife Terri of Roanoke, Texas; David Brusveen and wife Julie of Tulsa and Pamela Hodges and husband Frank also of Tulsa; as well as eight grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 31st at Mowery Funeral Service from 2pm till 6pm; and funeral services being at 10:00 AM Monday, August 1, 2016 in the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Phil Dark of Garnett Road Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Floral Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Broken Arrow, OK. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso. www.moweryfs.com
