02/22/2018 – One Rogers County Business has an unusual ministry. They offer free lawn care to those who are unable to take care of their lawns themselves.
The Tally family owns Leading Edge Lawn Care in Claremore. They say they are seeing more need for their services in the community, yet not everyone can afford it, so an idea hatched after they heard a sermon at their church.
The sermon on giving back stirred at their hearts and they decided that this was their way of giving back….. with something as simple as mowing lawns.
Lyndsay Talley tells us:
We opened a mowing ministry in 2017 and found that this need is huge! We helped as many as we could with a wait list. We pay it forward every chance we get, from servicing lawns for free, accepting donated equipment to give to people who may not have to money for a mower, etc. We are proud to use the money our company makes and bless others! Our mowing ministry is open to people living in Claremore, Verdigris, Oologah- Talala, Collinsville & Owasso.
