Sally Joan Frakes was born on February 7, 1942, in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to Homer Lott and Lou (Fish) Lott. She died on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at her home in Owasso, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years. She was raised and educated in Wynona and later earned her GED. Sally was married on March 21, 1958, in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to Stanley Leroy Frakes. She spent most of her working life in the home raising her two children. Sally enjoyed a variety of past times such as bowling, playing fast-pitch and slow-pitch softball, watching OU football, and watching sports in general.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Lou, four brothers, Dennis, Jim, Eddie, and Bill, two sisters, Pauline and Edna, and her husband, Stanley.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 25, 2022, at Mowery Funeral service in Owasso. Graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Ethel Reese Cemetery in Barnsdall, Oklahoma.
