Sarah A. Farrell was born in Battle Creek, MI and moved with her family to Clarksville TN, Peoria IL, and Fairfield, CT where she earned a BSCS degree from Sacred Heart University and developed a passion for the ocean.
In 1999 she began a successful career in Java programming in Broomfield, CO, a place she loved for its view of the mountains. There she became an avid solo back-country hiker, art lover, a Java teacher and visual artist. In 2021 she relocated to Owasso, OK to be closer to family.
Preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Farrell (Stiner), she is survived by two beloved cats, father James A Farrell, siblings Susan and Thomas, nephews Michael and Joshua, and niece Anastasia.
