Shirley Ann Rosengrants was born August 13, 1935, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, to Frank and Mabel Louise Myers Peterka. She died Friday, November 29, 2019, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 84. Shirley was reared and educated in Stillwater and was a graduate of Stillwater High School. She was married December 20, 1956, in Stillwater to Harry Rosengrants. She spent her early working life as a clerk with Douglas Grocery in Stillwater and later in life as a seamstress with Satin Stich. She was primarily a homemaker and caring for her family. Shirley enjoyed a variety of pastimes including working puzzles, birdwatching, and sewing. She was known to spoil her beloved dog, Gucci. She especially enjoyed her role of G-ma and Nanny to her granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Harry.
Funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Leonard Pirtle officiating. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Visiting Angels and St. John Hospice for the care and support provided to Shirley during her illness. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
