So this photo (or at least the baby part) has been seen millions of times around the internet. It has made people laugh or smile for the past few years. Many people do not realize that my son Jarod took this picture.
Well, Mason (the little boy) who is not so little anymore, and his parents Dave, and Rhiannon welcomed a baby girl into their amazing family in November.
Riley Marie Thomas was born on November 18, 2014 at 5 lbs. and 5 oz.. After extensive testing, Riley has been diagnosed with a condition called Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome. Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome affects physical and mental development. Some of the more common physical characteristics of the disease include seizures, congenital heart defects and skeletal abnormalities. Riley will be needing extra medical care throughout her life to assist with her battle against Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome.
