Stanley Nelson Gentry, Jr. was born on November 18, 1952, in Kimball Nebraska to Stanley Nelson Gentry, Sr. and Emma Mae (Allison) Gentry. He passed from this life on Saturday, February 25, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma a the age of 70 years. Stanley was raised and educated in the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma area and graduated with the U.S. Grant High School Class of 1971. He went on to earn a bachelors degree in business administration from Central State University in Edmond, Oklahoma. Stanley was married on August 28, 1982, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Carol Jean (Gwartney) Gentry. He spent most of his working life as an Aircraft Assembly Technician with Spirit Aerosystems in Tulsa, Oklahoma for over 10 years. Stanley was a longtime faithful member of First Baptist Church in Owasso. In his spare time, he enjoyed target shooting, geneology, fishing, playing with his dogs, and traveling, especially to National Parks, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Sr. and Emma, and his brother, Michael.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral Service will be held 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at First Baptist Church in Owasso. Graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Friday at Dixie Cemetery in Healdton, Oklahoma. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service.
