Steven Reid Moree was born on January 5, 1951, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Murl Lavere Moree and Clara Mildred (Clampitt) Moree. He passed from this life on Thursday, June 22, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 72 years. Steven attended grade school in Sageeyah, Oklahoma and then moved to Oologah, Oklahoma where he graduated with the Oologah High School Class of 1969. He then went on to attend classes at the University of Tulsa. Steven enlisted and served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps. He was married on October 14, 1978, in South River, New Jersey to Patricia “Pat” Ann (Mannino) Moree. Steven spent most of his working life as a hardware planner with Hewlett Packard in Tulsa, Oklahoma over 20 years. He was a longtime faithful member of St. Henry Catholic Church in Owasso, Oklahoma. In his spare time, he enjoyed restoring classic cars, going to car shows, running 5ks and working out, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Murl and Clara.
A Rosary will be held 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at St. Henry Catholic Church in Owasso. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at St. Henry Catholic Church in Owasso. Interment will follow at St. Therese Catholic Cemetery in Collinsville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Way, Memphis, TN 38105.
