Summer is a busy time for the City’s volunteer program. This week, a total of 51 volunteers, 36 from the Urban Soul youth group and 15 from the Freedom Church youth group, worked to beautify the landscaping at the future City Hall location, 76th and Main.
Volunteers cleaned out the large landscape planter on the corner of the building, along all sides of the building, plus the street corner area. Five poly carts and 15 yard waste bags of trimmings and weeds were cleaned around the building.
