Super Bowl Sunday Event to Feature Owasso’s Bill Blankenship, Jenks’ Allan Trimble, Carl Albert’s Gary Rose and Rejoice’s Brent Marley at Rejoice Church
01/29/2018 – Owasso, OKLA – January 23, 2018 – Rejoice Church will welcome four local championship high school football coaches to speak at their three morning services on February 4th. The coaches are Bill Blankenship of Owasso, Allan Trimble of Jenks, Gary Rose of Midwest City Carl Albert, and Brent Marley of Rejoice. The event is called ‘Super Sunday’ where together in a panel discussion the coaches will be talking about building champions on the field and in life. The service times are 8:30 a.m., 9:45 a.m. and 11 a.m. Rejoice Church dignitaries and the coaches will be available for interviews following the 11 a.m. service.
Together, these four coaches account for 28 state titles, the most recent won by Blankenship’s Owasso Rams in 2017, snapping a 43-year drought for the school.
“We are excited to welcome in such incredible leaders, not only on the field, but more importantly, off of it,” said Lead Pastor Casey Cariker. “We look forward to learning from these elite coaches who have led so well for so long.”
