On the evening of August 18th, Owasso Police conducted a search of a room at a local motel, which resulted in the recovery of a large amount of stolen property believed to be related to the rash of business burglaries and vandalism that have occurred in Owasso this month. Included in the recovered property was a loaded handgun, which had been stolen from inside a business.
Earlier this morning, a 15 year old male suspect was taken into custody facing multiple counts of Burglary, Vandalism, Grand Larceny and Knowingly Concealing Stolen Property. The suspects name is being withheld due to his status as a juvenile.
