Teresa D. Garner was born April 16, 1968 in Houston, Texas, to James Stanley and Leslie (Stanley) Albert. She passed from this life on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, with her friends and family at her side in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 52 years. Teresa was raised and educated in Chelsea, Oklahoma and graduated with the Chelsea High School Class of 1987. After high school she attended classes for 2 years at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. Teresa was married on July 18, 1987 at Winganon Baptist Church in Winganon, Oklahoma to George Garner. She spent most of her working life as an office manager with CreditPoint Software in Owasso. Teresa attended Life Church in Owasso. In her spare time, she enjoyed a variety of past times such as gardening, decorating, talking with her lifelong friend Melissa Standeford and shopping with her mother, but most of all she loved her family and watching her boys play baseball and football for Owasso. Memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 19, 2020 at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Leonard Pirtle officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made in Teresa’s memory to Cancer Treatment Centers of America – Tulsa, 10109 E. 79th St., Tulsa, OK 74133. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
