Teri Alice Bultemeier was born December 27, 1952, in Ada, Oklahoma, to Roy Lee Hanson and Zela Mae Derrick Hanson. She died Friday, January 31, 2025, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 72. Teri completed her secondary education in Ada and was a graduate of Ada High School. She continued her education at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma, where she met Steve Bultemeier. They were married December 22, 1974 in Ada.
Teri was dedicated to music ministry as a piano soloist, an accompanist, and as a piano teacher. She loved all things music including playing the piano, harp and singing. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes including walking and hiking, playing bridge, baking cookies, and especially decorating her home for the holidays.
Teri was a strong woman of faith using her gifts of discernment, giving, and teaching to touch the lives of many in need. To those around her, her genuine heart displayed the faith she had in her Savior Jesus Christ. Although petite in stature, she had an adventurous, fearless spirit that impacted all who came in contact with her. She dedicated her life to raising her son, to youth education, Bible study, church ministry, spiritual mentoring, and using music to help individuals with special needs.


She dearly loved her family and over her lifetime cherished time with her son, Keith and his wife Britni, her two granddaughters, Aspen and Reagan, her sisters, Linda Roberts, Jill Jarman and her husband Randy, Jennifer Bock and her husband Kelly, and her mother, Zela Hanson. She loved taking exceptional care of her husband Steve, and their dog Colt. She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Hanson.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 10, 2025, at Central Baptist Church in Owasso. Final resting place will be at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
