Theresa Merle Atwood was born June 26, 1923, in Farmington, New Mexico, to Charles William and Rebecca (Long) Cordes. She died Sunday, July 5, 2015, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 92 years. Theresa completed her secondary education at Rapid City, South Dakota. She was married November 11, 1942, at Rapid City, to Charles Henry Price. Theresa and her husband owned and operated a grocery business in Albion, Montana, then in Hammond, Montana. They later operated Price’s Gas and Appliances at Ekalaka, Montana. After making the move to Apache Junction, Arizona, Theresa worked with the Siemens Company as a supervisor. After Charles Price deceased, Theresa married Sherman Atwood who passed away a few years later. In 2012, she made her home in Owasso, Oklahoma, to be closer to her family.

Private services will be held at Mountain View Cemetery in Mesa, Arizona. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
