Thomas Eugene Burr II was born May 15, 1973, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Thomas Eugene and Mary Beatrice Terrell Burr. He died Wednesday, December 19, 2018, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 45 years. Tom was reared and educated in Collinsville, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Collinsville High School Class of 1992. He continued his education at the University of Oklahoma where he earned his bachelor’s degree in liberal studies. He was married June 22, 1996, in Owasso, Oklahoma, to Kelly Poplin. Tom spent much of his working life with Abiomed as a regional clinical manager. He was a longtime faithful member of Rejoice Church in Owasso. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes including cycling and playing the guitar. It was no secret that he was an avid Oklahoma Sooner football fan.

Four nephews; Brady Richie, Carter Richie, Jake Tennison, and Luke Tennison
Father-in-law and mother-in-law; Wally and Judy Poplin, of Owasso.
 
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2018, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2018, at Rejoice Church in Owasso with Pastor Casey Cariker officiating. Final resting place will be at Graceland Cemetery in Owasso. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Dream Center, 13111 East 21st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74134. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service.
