Tommy Lee Zellner, resident of Owasso, passed away early Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at the age of 65 years. Tommy was born August 15, 1948, in Perryton, Texas, to William A. and Joyce Lorene (Higgins) Zellner, Sr. Tommy was raised and received his education mostly in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He came to the Tulsa area when he was in his early 20’s. Tommy was a brick mason by trade, working in the construction business. He had a variety of interests including golfing, bowling, working crossword puzzles, and playing guitar. Tommy preferred the Christian faith.
Those that survive include his father, William A. Zellner, Sr of Owasso; two daughters, Deedra Reece and husband Ryan of Sapulpa, and Lorrie Patterson and husband Cleve of Jenks; two brothers, William A. (Bill) Zellner, Jr and wife Kay of Collinsville, and Timmy Zellner and wife Debbie of Owasso; and a sister Judy Miller and husband Brad, also of Owasso. Four grandchildren, Ashton, Rylee, Colbie and Lexie also survive. Tommy was preceded in death by his mother and a brother Lonnie.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 10, 2014, in the chapel of Mowery Funeral Service with Rev. Leonard Pirtle officiating.
