Velma Gene Oliver was born on June 14, 1927, to Wilmer Lynn Hahn, Sr and Viola Gladys (Hanoch) Hahn. She passed from this life on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 95 years. She was married to Garlin Wayland Oliver. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2023, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Graveside funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso, Oklahoma, with Pastor Kevin Laufer officiating. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
