02/13/2018 – On January 19th, 2018, an Owasso Freshman was named MVP at the International Bowl IX in Arlington, Texas.
Emaud Triplett, a 5’11”, 205lb RB from Owasso, showcased his talent playing for the USA U-16 National Team. Emaud was named MVP of the USA U-16 50-0 victory game over UANL Mexico.
The games featuring top high school and middle school-aged players, spanning eight countries on three continents. The 12 games comprising USA Football’s International Bowl IX, was shown to a global audience across ESPN platforms.
Emaud is one to watch, in the class of 2021.
The series of games featured more than 1,000 student-athletes from across the United States, Canada, Japan, Mexico and the Nordic region encompassing athletes from Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. The International Bowl is American Football’s largest annual global competition.
