Virginia May Shadrick was born October 4, 1934, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Lua Clayton and Thelma Josephine McGuire. She died Friday, March 17, 2020, in Collinsville, Oklahoma, at the age of 85 years. Virginia was married January 3, 1966, in Claremore, Oklahoma, to Claude Taylor Shadrick. They had made their home in Owasso since that time. She spent much of her working life with Wal-Mart, but primarily served in food services with Owasso Public Schools. She was a longtime faithful member of the Assembly of God. She was also a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International, local chapter Owasso Eta Mu.

Rollie McGuire and wife Jan, of Owasso
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Claude Shadrick, and brothers, Richard McGuire, and Roy McGuire.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2020, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Final resting place will be at Fairview Cemetery in Owasso, Oklahoma. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service.
