The City of Owasso’s Recreation & Culture Department has postponed the re-opening date of the Rayola Park Splash Pad to the weekend of July 1st.
The original date was to be approximately May 31st. Unfortunately the last few weeks have been riddled with precipitation which has soaked the ground and delayed the contractors ability to install necessary underground infrastructure and surface concrete implements by 30 days.
The original section of the splash pad is being refurbished during this expansion as well and will open simultaneously with the expanded area on July 1st.
The City of Owasso and the contractor are working together in order to ensure the July 1st deadline is met. Thank you.
