OWASSO, Okla. – Whataburger Restaurants, known for custom-made, always-fresh burgers, will host a grand opening celebration on Thursday, Oct. 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. at its newest location at 12903 E. 96th St. N. in Owasso.
Whataburger will host an evening of games and giveaways, including its popular Whataburger for a Year drawing, where one customer’s name will be drawn to win the prize – a free Whataburger each week for an entire year. The festivities will also include a balloon artist and photo booth.
“Whataburger has grown quite a bit since our beginnings as a single burger stand in 1950, but we still think of ourselves as the hometown burger place,” said Whataburger Director of Operations Scott Phillips. “We look forward to being that place for the Owasso community and to meeting all of our new neighbors and friends.”
Family-owned Whataburger has proudly served its famous burgers since 1950 and continues to deliver fresh, made-to-order meals everyday with extraordinary customer service at more than 10 locations in the Tulsa area. Headquartered in San Antonio, Whataburger has successfully expanded to a thriving family of more than 760 restaurants across 10 states today.
Whataburger also believes in investing in the communities it calls home. For that reason, Whataburger announced a $500 donation to the Owasso Education Foundation.
In addition to lunch and dinner, the 24-hour restaurants are a popular destination for late night dining and breakfast.
