While on birth control, is it okay to be on another hormone medicine such as Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (TSH)?
Answer:
It is okay to take other hormone medications when you are taking oral contraceptives. Make sure that your physician knows about all your medications. Thyroid medications are certainly okay, but other medications may interfere with the way your body metabolizes them and sometimes the underlying health issue may be made worse by your oral contraceptives.
