Wynemma Lee Thomas was born September 20, 1925, in Marlow, Oklahoma, to Samuel Wallace and Thelma Patton Wallace. She died Sunday, September 10, 2023, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 97 years. Wynemma was reared and educated in Marlow and was a graduate of Marlow High School. She was married November 15, 1946, in Oxnard, California, to H.L. Thomas. They had made their home in Duncan, Oklahoma, for many years and were faithful members of Immanuel Baptist Church. Wynemma spent much of her working life as a homemaker caring for her family. While in Duncan she also spent time working at the Holiday Bowl. Wynemma enjoyed a variety of pastimes including embroidery and playing Bingo. She also enjoyed country dancing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Thelma Noblett, and Sam Wallace, husband, H.L. Thomas, and two sons, Jim Gray, and Lynn Thomas
Funeral service was held 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 18, 2023, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Kevin Laufer officiating. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
